Vintage Southwest Pueblo Adobe Style House Oil Painting By W. Zeller
Lovely vintage oil painting depicting a Southwest Pueblo Adobe style house with ladders resting against the exterior adobe wall. Cactus and pottery are seen outside the house. Zeller (1879 - 1973) is on the painting. These ladders are used as outdoor decorative features. Pueblo architecture refers to the traditional architecture of the Pueblo people in what is now the Southwestern United States, especially New Mexico.
Pueblo buildings are most commonly constructed from adobe. The buildings have flat roofs supported by rough-hewn wooden beams. Approximate size with frame: Length 14 1/2" x Width 16 1/2". Approximate weight: 2 lb 4.4 oz.
